Happy ‘Kill Your Boss’ Wednesday

Boss: We're going to have to schedule some of these meetings for a different day or something because I don't want you guys to skip lunch, that's not fair to you

Person who didn't sign up for a meeting time: *emails at the last minute asking if we have any time slots left (we don't)*

My coworker: *without checking with anyone to see if it's ok to say this* Yeah, you can come at 12 (our scheduled lunch break), that's fine.

Same coworker: *2 hours after we should've had lunch* Ugh I'm so hungry

Me: *internally* Well who's fucking fault is that?

Giving Up

Y’all, I think I have given up emailing or offering suggestions to one of my staff physicians because I feel like everything I say is either misconstrued or deemed over stepping. That’s even when I am ASKED to give feed back. So, I’m not really sure to tell you the truth.

How I'm feeling about today...... my patience is super thin, woke up with a pressure headache that won't go away and stupid ppl are testing my limits. I just can't even with some ppl.......

Work

I have a marketing and media position and I get to make all the advertisements for this company and monitor their analytics and stats. For the most part, it’s simple. I just do what I would normally do at school, minus all the intensity of creating animation. So I edit a few videos and photos and slap some text in here and there and I have to be honest. I’m a bit bored. 

I think that because I’ve been going to school to learn how to do this on a professional level for projects and I have learned to edit full CGI animations within an hour because I’m always down to the wire, chopping together a few videos for a commercial seems like nothing to me.

I finish my tasks within the first few hours of my shifts and for the rest of my day, I’m mentally bored. I try coming up with more work stuff to do but most of it is waiting for approval from my supervisor since it involves the budget set aside for advertising. And I do not feel right working on non-work assignments at work

I’ve still not seen Seth’s SNL ep but I already know that it’s the best episode of the year and that I’m so proud of him ❤️

How to summon people into your shop when its slow: Try using the bathroom or think about making lunch, that'll do the trick, every time. I guarantee it.
