So school arranged World Cup Final Screening and because of the time difference, basically students are not in school today and teachers either are at the school to help with resource creation or they could go back if they came to watch World Cup lol

Basically since I'm an admin staff now and I chose not to go it is another quiet day... Perhaps I'll go out to eat later hahaha (planned for the later part of the week but this is fine too!)

Not that I'm complaining or anything but wow this is another quiet Friday~

So as a form of reflection I'm trying to summarize some takeaways and I feel like this week's takeaway is to not be too efficient at work. Hear me out:

Felt that there were moments where I started to get a little stressed because I started overthinking and then I had to bring myself down to Earth because based on my observations I do feel like as a bigger workplace there are more red tapes which means even if I do my work quickly to hopefully get these approved, it's not going to move until they approve it

The way at the 2nd half of work I started watching tennis tv videos

#work rambles 2.0 #no wonder I felt a little funny after lunch #at least I finished lunch #and at least this week my RO isn’t here

Can literally say I'm actually shopping for stationaries for the whole morning and dare i say the whole day lmao

But good that i found myself something to do and just pace myself because it wouldn't look very good on me if i just sit and wait around so i just do what i can and at my own pace

Also the different thing about compared to my previous school is that now I'm officially under admin which means this is technically my job (I guess) - its just that because last time I was rostered for a lot of things because of the small size of the school but now that this school is bigger like things are more clearly defined - pros and cons i suppose

Daily reminders that I do what I can and that should be enough.

Side note: I guess because of schedules and my location, it does get quiet up here (like last week, I could go the whole day without meeting people) but I'm not going to be too hard on myself because I can't rush the process.

#work rambles 2.0 #like i think there is def pros and cons #pros being that i get my own space most of the time and i don't feel like i'm being watched even though i'm taking a rest #cons is that i gotta learn how to be an independent self-starter #already sent the head teacher one potential vendor and updated her on roughly what ill be doing this week #so ill just continue with what im doing

Yes I know it is only the 1st week at work but 2nd half of the afternoon has become quiet again. Almost spiraled but good thing about having personal space is that I am able to talk out my thoughts and try and counter them. No I am not a crazy person and yes it helps to a certain degree to talk to yourself.
