So the coffee shop where I work has been under new ownership since last Wednesday (1 week) and the new owner is friendly but kinda clueless? Her husband though omg. He's been around quiet a bit to help replace stuff and clean and organize stuff and he's a total asshole. Examples of why he's a disgusting creep: 1) the first thing he said to my manager when he met her was "Persian (him) and German (her), we're both part of the Arian nation!" Like wtf? Even if it's a joke which it's impossible to tell with him, WTF 2) the first thing he said to our only Persian employee, in Farsi, was something like "How can you work in this shithole? Persians are clean ppl" like, aside from being incredibly rude, what did he expect us to do? We worked for the old boss the way he wanted now we do the same for them. 3) he continually starts telling us all these little jobs he needs us to do while we're working. Like, the customers are our priority, fuck off 4) the ice, the cups and the water are all right next to each other and he'll just come and stand in front of them and ask the employees for water. WTF 5) not only does he ask us to do a ton of shit that's not our jobs, he kept one guy after work for 2 hours without paying him. Wtf. 6) one of the first things he said to the Chinese woman who works here was apparently something racial and disrespectful and demanding and she was so angry when she was telling us about it, she was in tears and the person who was with her at the time said she almost walked off the job 7) he was sitting in the caffe drinking coffee with his friends (men) and he pointed at a spot on the ground and literally got this woman to clean the floor by his feet while he was sitting there drinking coffee. 8) he made some kind of strange joke/remark about me always being in my knees? I'm the same age as his son, younger than his daughter. Isn't that like, sexual harassment? Idk. He's just such a fucking creep.
