i never, ever thought another man could love me. not like this. i was convinced for years that being trans meant that i was unloveable and undesirable.

but you know that post that goes, “all i want is a partner who is way out of my league but thinks that i’m way out of their league and we’ll live together in perfect confused harmony with a dog”?

trans dudes who like dudes, especially if you’re young and feeling real hopeless–don’t worry, it’ll happen. you CAN find a man who loves you–gross, mushy, sappy love–who’ll nurse you through your surgeries, cook dinner with you four or five times a week, whose body meshes just right against yours… who, years on, still stuns you with your shared vulnerability and trust, with his laugh, with how you can see the freckles in his eyes when your faces are pressed together; with how your skittish pulse slows in his arms, or that when you’re both half-asleep, he’ll press a kiss between your shoulderblades and pull you closer to him…

tl;dr: being a gay trans man doesn’t doom you to a life without love. hang in there.

i don’t agree that this is harmful to begin with, but all my years in the trans community, i saw again and again that TM would silence themselves and prioritize TW for no legit reason, on issues that concerned TM just as much if not more than TW. 

how is “women = vagina” only harmful to ppl who identify as women? 

if the “woman” half is harmful to TW for implying they’re NOT women,

then the “vagina” half should be just as harmful to TM for implying that they ARE women, right? 

(i would say even more harmful considering how few TM actually have access to/will ever get bottom surgery compared to TW, so more TM have vaginas and have to live with it then TW vice versa) 

if something hurts you, don’t shut up just to make those in the community with more power feel better, your feelings matter. just because people in the community listen when TW speak doesn’t mean your voice, feelings and experiences don’t matter, they do.

I tried to film all of the Stamitz concerto but I practiced for 4h already today so my left hand and shoulder are like numb? And tired? And basically my fingers wouldn't move fast enough so everything was out of tune 🙈 I might post the Stamitz tomorrow morning tho!
