The problem would not exist if I asked beforehand. Hence, it is vital to ask honest questions (even if it sounds "stupid") rather than making assumptions. Everybody makes mistakes; the good news is that everything can be fixed.

Do you think Taylor sees making more as a job or more as a hobby or 50/50?
I saw your clarification that you're asking about making music.
I think she maybe sees making music as a job the majority of the time now. Even when she was younger, she had a very serious work ethic about it that I think made her consider it work. There's a few times in the Lover diaries that you can really see her thinking about it as a job and she's talked about having the work-ethic to show up and try to create even when you're lacking in inspiration.
I do think there are times that writing or performing songs are simply for the joy of doing it, e.g. she talked about being the house band at parties. I just think they're outweighed by the other times.
And just because it's work, doesn't mean that she doesn't enjoy it! (Although there a few aspects of her job that I really think she doesn't like).
