P.S. Please upload my pics. Hihi. ^^
Met with the owner of Excellente Ham last December 2011 for a Holiday Interview. Thank you so much for the freebies, Tita Ne! Super masarap. :D
Note: The infamous Execellente shop is located in Quiapo, near the SM Carriedo. They sell all year round and has been in the biz for decades. Henry Sy used to be their neighbor when his SM was still on its baby steps. Huzzah! :)
I've been busy with my Christmas Special features lately so here's a sort of 30s plug for one of the specials I've been doing. Thank you to my super editor Apple-i wish you have a tumblr account-Paule! :D

It’s been a long while since I published personal posts. I became overwhelmingly busy during the last three weeks since I was given the opportunity to produce, write and host a full-hour episode of Philippine Biography.
So here’s a preview of our hard work.
Kudos also to our cameramen Edgar Nono and Francis Garcia, as well as coordinator JR Narit. :)
Mission: SONA Rally Coverage, CLEARED.
25 July 2011
Yeyeyey! Finally completed my assignment for the SONA coverage! Thank you papa God, I came back in one piece! Haha.
Honestly, I may sound ignorant in this blog entry and that's because it was my first time attending a rally-slash-peaceful demonstration. It's also my first time to post about protests and militant groups and activists. Here are some thoughts on my first time experience:
I have a bad impression of mass gatherings all thanks to the violent EDSA TRES videos I watched when I was younger. But now, I find rallies fun, informative and peaceful.
Upper class citizens should experience attending rallies atleast once in their lifetime. Even if they don't support the cause of the masses, they should try going there to atleast understand what it feels like to be poor, to atleast understand why the underprivileged clamor for social reform and to atleast assess if they are spending their family's money wisely.
I somehow got emotional seeing grandpa's and grandma's walking long distances and braving bad weather just to be part of the demonstration and express their hardships in life. :(
NO OFFENSE TO ANYBODY, BUT MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER WHO BASH THE GOVERNMENT (i.e. Aquino has no accomplishments, SONA is nothing but false hopes, etc.) HAVE NO IDEA ON WHY MILITANT GROUPS GATHER TO PROTEST. IT'S QUITE IRRITATING HOW A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO ARE TOTALLY IGNORANT OF ISSUES YET JOIN THE BANDWAGON IN PRETENDING TO BE SOCIALLY AWARE. Period.
I'll probably post photos of the rally later when I get home. But for now, I just want to thank and congratulate the militant groups for keeping the protest peaceful, organized, lively and accident free; and the Philippine National Police, Armed Forces, MMDA and other government officials who were there as early as 12 midnight and stayed faithful to their duty of peacekeeping and patrolling.
Though I didn't get to wear a sponsored Filipiniana gown from Rene Salud, I'm still very happy and thankful that I was on the streets with common Filipinos who are fighting for their right to speak and be heard. Today really reminded and showed me the essence of democracy. Kudos to the Filipino nation! :)
P.S. Super thank you to my cameraman-driver Kuya Ernie! I enjoyed today's adventure. :)
