Lent 2012: Over and accomplished. So I'm back!!
And I can finally get back on Tumblr. Thanks, James, for holding on to it for me! Doesn't look like much has changed. As far as everything else goes, I:
got a second job. Say hello to your new Mary Kay beauty consultant.
have been practicing almost every single day for Culture Night, dancing and acting. FIVE MORE DAYS!!
led FASA into a jipped "fundraiser", sold about 10 bracelets, and ended up not getting any of the profits because it was actually a competition to see who could raise the most money. First place won 50% of the profits, second 30%, then third 20%. Ehh, we still have Relay for Life coming up!
Not much has changed. I've just been a lot busier than before. Especially with celebrating Nicki's 21st for as long as almost a week. Starting with the actual date of her birthday, almost had a photoshoot going on but photographer cancelled on us and celebrated her first legal drink at Applebee's. Then went crazy on Saturday night at Granby Theater, and finally mellowed it all out with a hibachi grill dinner at Otani's by the beach.
For now, I'm too busy to do anything else. Been living, breathing, eating, and sleeping Culture Night for the past few weeks now. Even been putting Mary Kay on hold, but it's okay. When summer comes, I'll have all the time in the world to hold appointments, parties and sell products.
Might not even post as much on Tumblr like I used to, but I don't really know. We'll see how this pans out.

Easter 2012 - Resurrection in Corinth
1 Corinthians 15:12-28, 58
For our Easter celebration we jump ahead a little bit in 1 Corinthians to chapter 15, where Paul explains why the resurrection changes EVERYTHING!
Music led by Joel Cumby and the Resurrection Band - starts 35 minutes in.
EXCUSE ME WHILE I GO CRY. I'M DYING IN HAPPINESS!
EXCUSE ME WHILE I CRY IN HAPPINESS!
I MADE IT THROUGH LENT WITHOUT ANY COLDPLAY AND TUMBLR.
I JUST WANNA CRY.
SERIOUSLY.
I'M GONNA GO BOUNCE UP AND DOWN IN MY DORM ROOM WHILE SCREAMING AND CRYING IN HAPPINESS.
Anyways, while I get some air, here's a little note I wrote for you fellow Tumblrs:
Dear fellow Tumblrs,
I’m finally back since Lent has officially ended for 2012! Anyways, I would like to issue a few things: first of all, I’m sorry for being all rant-like. I tend to rant a lot when I get stressed, and it’s not fun. Second thing: I have so much to post on Tumblr. It’s unbelievable. I took so many pictures (along with a couple of videos for my YouTube channel) that they need to go up. Or else. So, be warned of massive picture posting!
Moving on, Lent was better than I expected (although I did suffer here and there from not listening to Coldplay. @_@). I got a lot of things done, such as getting a 93% on Music History and Lit. II (I’m on Music History and Lit. III now), teaching little munchkins, understanding the beauty of Theory II/Theory II Lab (Lab class is ear-training...), tons of performing (I’m up to my 8th-10th performance this semester-I lost track. :P), practicing, homework (the usual), and having four lessons per week (violin, viola, piano, and coaching). Oh! I’m also taking Introduction to Martial Arts, which is pretty awesome (I’m not gonna lie, but I love it…and lots of other stuff, such as this (as in my week): three 8 AMS, three 9:10s, two 9:45s, one 3:20, one 7:30-10 PM, sectionals, four lessons per week (violin, viola, Piano Prof. D, and coaching), two 6-7:30s (and I had to withdraw out of two courses to add this core class), performances, and teaching!
Speaking of teaching, I love it right now; even though it’s difficult. My partner and I work with autistic children, whom I may say it’s challenging, but it’s so much fun. We’re working on Do-Re-Mi, from the Sound of Music using Orff instruments (for pitch) and little percussion instruments (for rhythm only). I love the idea of this, because not only does it blend in pitch, it blends in the usage of solfelge! <3
While at this, I’m coming to a realization in life about the Bible, Jesus, and more on the theological aspect of life. It’s interesting, because I realized even though how much work I need to get done in a day, I still need Jesus in my life no matter what. I’m also learning about scriptures, how it affects us in a daily basis, how to meditate on it, prayer, and so much more. I’m reading Jeremiah right now (and I’m almost one with it in a few more chapters), and I realized how fearful it would be to deny the Lord’s word (Jeremiah 36). Burning a scroll of the Lord’s word…oh dear…that’s pretty scary. As much to say, I want Jesus to come into my life and I want him in my heart no matter what situations come into our way. I have faith that the Lord can do so much greater things to our lives! Seriously, though. Although I have lots of work to get through each week, I’m thankful to be in the music department, receiving education for the future, having lessons, being a part of NAfME, thinking of new ideas to teach, and whatnot.
Sometimes, I do miss my friends and family. I see photos, statuses, and other things on Facebook, text messaging, and so on, that it hurts (cause I’m studying way up north), but I’m thankful that they were in my life. I’ll never forget them, because they played a big part here and there…and they were always there. I must say, there are too many things to list that I’m thankful for in my life…
Oh! I've also learned some tips to de-stress myself at times, become humble, and re-learn the meaning of faith.
Also, I’ve found some interests that I’ve discovered over Lent! Well, for starters…is drawing. I’m not the greatest drawer in the world, but I still try either or. Also, I’ve also discovered filming, which is massively fun….composition….editing/arranging video game music, more photography, exercising (XD I lost weight), gaming every once in a while, new tastes of music (example: I prefer masses and stuff over Christian contemporary music…0_o), etc.
Well, that’s it for now, and I’ll be uploading 097429837489237498237498q734982 pictures that I saved.
Farewell with this super-looooooong note, and have a great day!
Savior, He can move the mountains My God is might to save He is mighty to save Forever, Author of Salvation He rose and conquered the grave Jesus conquered the grave

Whatever You Do
1 Corinthians 10:23-11:1
As Paul closes out a section of his letter he ties together a bunch of the themes that we have covered so far, and captures the spirit of the movement in one simple phrase.
Music led by a whole gang of people - starts 49 minutes in.
