Since installing an 8MB expansion in this A1000, I’ve been making a lot more use of the RAM Disk, such as storing a few often-used sample files when this Protracker disk boots. It means a bit more disk crunching on start up but the RAM Disk is near instant access so it results in a quicker workflow over all.
