Toronto Fire Services on scene at a 1-alarm commercial/industrial fire at 467 Cosburn Ave. Pumper 322 and Aerial 322 were first due to this fire and quickly located and extinguished it. No injuries were reported. The shift working that night was A shift, and the station 322 A shift crew is one of the friendliest groups of firefighters I’ve ever met. They’ve invited me to their firehall, given me station patches, given my friends a tour of their firehall as well, and they greet me at every fire we’re at. In the first photo, you can see the captain of A322 on the left, and one of the crew members on the right; he is the one who always greets me.
“Felix! Good to see you, buddy! Told you we were due!”
(Here he was referring to a prior conversation with me where he commented on the lack of recent fires, saying we were due for a fire soon.)
I’m so glad all the firefighters I’ve gotten to know have been so welcoming and friendly.
