Whenever I tell people my boyfriend will buy me anything I want or need, I get this look. This look of, "she's a gold digger. " I really hate it. Like I'm not with him for his money. He chooses to buy things for me. He wants to spend money on me because he likes to provide for me. He feels like he should be the one making money and giving it to me so I can get what we need to live. This is the traditional gender rolls that we go by. But he likes that I have a job too. And that's my money to spend however I want. I'm kind of just rambling because I can't sleep but I was upset by the face that people can't accept him paying for my things.
