I fucking love kids. Was watching a group for half a day yesterday instead of their normal teacher. 11 girls and 1 boy vs 1 me. Immediately got presents: a rainbow bead, a toffee and a dandelion. Then was "THERE IS A BUG!!!" - we let it free.
During outdoor time happened "THERE IS A SNAKE!!!" - it was a normal earth-worm, I took him in my hands and put to the flowerbed. Funny: first kids were disgusted and somewhat creeped out, but when they saw me touching it they went "hm, weird but ok" and some even touched it themselves.
And THEN one girl found a (terrible ugly and disgusting) maggot size of pinkie-finger and they played with it for about half an hour, even asked if they can keep it as a pet and took it with them. Nope, kids, this little lady going to turn into a bug soon, she doesn't have time to play with you anymore. Yes, that's sad (NO).
