I had a lesson scheduled for 12:30 today. The young man didn't show up and didn't answer WhatsApp messages. His mother appeared online only at 15:20 and when I informed her that there was no lesson, she wrote to me "Good day! I'm not at home but I will figure out where my son is now."

Well, guess what, no one appeared ever since and it's 22:30.

? What kind of attitude is that? I'm just...so frustrated! No one forces them to work with me. No one. They are free to refuse my services any time and there will be no bad blood about it but when the kid just doesn't appear and his mother stops answering, too, what am I supposed to do?

He's not even gonna make it through his probation period at this point. Week 2 just started for him and he's still not done a damn thing we've told him to do. We're reporting him to the big boss.

I get that my coworker is earnestly trying to praise my skills and how quickly I turn in assignments but saying I got an "AI brain" or that "AI must be trained on my brain" isn't the compliment she thinks it is 😬
