I'm going to start off by making it clear what my intentions are for this journey. My main goal is to become healthier and give myself more energy throughout the day, my other two are to lose weight and to improve my mental health.
I suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression and anxiety. This happy bundle has been with me now for over ten years. We have had some good times and rather bad but one thing that has been consistent is my lack of physical activity throughout my teens and adult life. This has resulted in my weight gain and a large contributing factor to my own mental health and body image problems.
I want to be able to have the energy to do more with my day and help me in my everyday life while i train to be a nurse! My plan is to combine the Wii Fit (Only part of the solution) controlled diet of portion sizes and healthier choices with different work out routines.
Over the next few days I will form a meal plan and workout routine that combines Yoga for flexibility and balance, cardio and strength training.
I am currently waiting on the final parts to connect my monitor to my Wii console but the Amazon delivery is yet to arrive last afternoon so it may be tomorrow I start.
In the mean time, prey for my sanity and I will get prepping!
