I've been getting much more install and field experience with the Oklahoma employment I have now, versus the company I spent a few years with in Maui.
We are remodelling a nice cafe downtown, it is enthralling, I’m picking up tricks and making jokes with the head chef/owner as well as the carpenters I work with while we are treated to house lattes and cranberry scones.
Pictured above are some walnut tables and cutlery drawers from this savoury gig. *When I was asked to get the slides from our hardware supplier and the green velvet for those drawers from a craft store I was reminded of an encounter I had with an older Australian man when I was there in 2013, I recollected to my boss how over there they have a chain building supplier known as Bunnings and a one stop bric a brac shop known as Spotlight.. This man declared to me that the reason you always see Spotlights next to Bunnings is so you have somewhere to send your wife. My boss responded with a twang: “Well today you get to do BOTH”
