I know everyone has different opinions but I reiterate mine: Sam and Mackenzie are still together, and the blonde was work related, whether she is Nicola or someone else. That’s beside the point. Sam did a whirlwind of press, he was going nonstop (why would Mackenzie go? Just to follow him from interview to interview and sit in the green room waiting for him? They have 7 months of hiatus to spend together for quality time). What he had been doing in London, including going to the opening of Nobu, was WORK. Robert DeNiro was there, lots of other famous people, and important contacts to be made. Celeb parties and openings are fun but they are still for WORK. Think of all the pics Sam has taken beside women at celeb events. No one has accused him of cheating on Mackenzie or having broken up. Why is that happening now? Because the difference this time is this woman is very pretty, young and blonde, and she was walking down the street with him so people assumed they arrived or left together (again, they may have, but people go to events together for work). If Sam and the blonde had been photographed INSIDE the party side by side smiling, people would have wondered who the blonde was but would not have made the fuss that is being made now. Literally this is all because they looked like they came or left together. We don’t know for sure that they did. If we saw Sam with a middle aged frumpy looking woman coming out of a car going to a celeb party, we would have assumed she was an agent, manager, PR, or something. The only difference is this woman was attractive. It’s not like she and Sam were all over each other. Those pictures looked purely platonic. No body language experts needed, thank you. :-) Hate to break it to people, but there are some people who are not actresses who are attractive, some even work for PR or entertainment management agencies, or for whisky brands, or for clothing companies, or for luxury car companies, or for hotels, or for big restaurant chains…IOW she could be in any field…whoever she is was work related for Sam.
Sorry to sound so irritated…but I AM. I’m swamped at work and the barrage of Anon Asks I’m getting about this is mind-boggling, I’m still scratching my head that so many people freaked out about this. Sam WAS WORKING. This event was NETWORKING. Sam knows Mackenzie has been IDed in print all over the place as his girlfriend. He knows that’s no longer private. He knows we all know Mackenzie is his girlfriend. Sam HIMSELF made it official by posting a pic of them together on his IG–something he hasn’t done before. After all of that, is it logical to think that he’s going to parade a new girlfriend so publicly? That would make him a HUGE douchebag, and we know he’s not. Right?
To simplify: Either the blonde is work related and Sam is the nice, decent guy we think he is…OR the blonde is his new girlfriend, and Sam is a huge douche. Which one is it? Cuz it can’t be both. I am firmly planted in the first option. Firmly.
