Yesterday I did something that I've been thinking about for a very long time. I wore my saree to work. I live in the USA, so saree is still seen as costume most of the time and especially where I live, so I tried to make it work appropriate for the American work environment. I wore a regular tshirt instead of a blouse and I draped my saree slightly different to allow the tshirt to sit on top of saree skirt. I finished it up with a light blazer, although I took it off for most of the day because it was too hot inside.
