[Needless to say, he is thoroughly confused by this. Hierarchy? Leadership? This is the first he’d heard about it…]

“Me? Hierarchy? Er… are ya sure you’ve got th’ right guy, bud? I mean, I’m willin’ to answer any questions best I can, but…”

[For Mechanic, the last person he’d want ‘in charge’ would be himself.]

[sisyphus paced outside the actual workshop part of the workshop]

[there were several things he wanted to talk to mechanic about - the announcement otto had told him about, why he was even still here if he served no purpose, and the confusing thoughts hed been having about himself]

[he was trying to figure out how to approach the human about it, something made difficult by his past. but it would be easy to accidentally draw mechanics attention]

[The workshop itself was a mess, honestly. More than usual. Still, despite the clutter and chaos of it all, the man inside managed to catch sight of the robot hovering by the door. Identifying him as Sisyphus from the hat, he paused as he wondered whether he should go over, not wanting to startle him.] [Eventually, though, he decides it'd probably be alright to do. Struggling to his feet, he makes his way over to the other, stopping a comfortable distance away.] "Hey, bud. You alright?" [He asks, tilting his head slightly. It may not be the best time for all of them, but he'll always do his best.]

[ There was a frantic knocking on the door to the workshop. Esmé had heard about this place from Otto, so they assumed it was trustworthy. ]

UH- GOOD DAY?

I HEARD YOU ARE GOOD WITH ROBOTS AND HELPING THEM.

[ She kept looking back at the water damaged "medibot," worried about the technical stranger's condition. ]

[He blinks a couple times at the odd sight, looking up at an unfamiliar demobot dragging a frozen... medibot?] "Huh? Oh, hey! Yeah, yeah, come in, come in! Name's Mechanic, by th' way." [He holds the door open for the newcomers, letting them enter the cluttered workshop.]

[The familiar sound of a wheel rolling across the hard floor is heard getting closer and closer as Medibot slowly approaches, careful as to not frighten Mechanic as he holds something behind his back, speaking in encoded beeps.]

<<HELLO? ARE YOU BUSY RIGHT NOW?>>

[Mechanic lifts his head, listening carefully. Is that..?] "Medibot..?" [His heart sinks a little as he realizes he still hasn't helped the robot... Yet another reason he's a terrible person, he reminds himself.] "No, no... Not really." [He takes a deep breath, bracing himself, and turns to face the damaged bot. He forces a smile.] "What can I help ya with, bud?"

are you aware that Otto basically just got bullied into acting like he isn’t sapient?

"{THIS GAME WILL MAKE YOU CUM UNTIL YOU DIE!}"

“Yeah, that’s an adware. An’ I’m fairly certain I know which one. An easy fix, luckily.”

[He nods, gathering up some cables and plugging them into various ports on the old computer on his desk…]

“We’ll need to plug ya in to access your files, if you’re alright with that.”

"Mechie." Jane says simply, coming upon the workshop door.

"We haven't met. So consider this an introduction."

He seems prickly in tone, but his body language is relaxed. He's ... trying?

[He's a little caught off-guard due to the suddenness of the visit, stumbling out of his chair to meet the other, managing to navigate through the clutter of the workshop to stand by the door.] "A-Ah, hey! Soldier, right? What brings ya by?" [He asks, leaning against one of the workbenches. One of the few that isn't completely covered in half-finished projects, at least...]

The familiar sound of wheels wws heard as Red approached the doorway, exactly the same model as Otto, but red, silver, and black. It looked uncomfortable, avoiding eye contact at all costs. He didn’t really have a choice other than to be here, as Blu Medibot would probably be sad if he backed out now.

”Hm… Ah!”

[Upon hearing the wheel, Mechanic simply assumed it to be Otto. Understandable, though incorrect.]

“Otto! Hey, b-“

[He freezes. Instead of the robot he was expecting, he was faced by another. Another that looked horribly similar to…]

“I-I… You…”

[No… No… Not again. Not again…]
