I was planning on adding new earrings this weekend, but had issues with my mannequin. After having her since 2012, my full sized mannequin bust broke.
I'm surprised she lasted that long honestly, as I put a lot of use out of the photo items, and am pretty hard on the equipment. I can't tell you how many cameras I've been through over the years.
I bought a different model mannequin since the one I had was no longer available after a few months of searching. I thought it looked great when I got it, but the ears and ear holes weren't working for lever backs, which is mainly what I use it for, so I had to switch all the earrings I needed pics of to hooks.
I also didn't realize this one had an open mouth 😮, which the other one did not have, and which does not photograph well at all.
I then had the bright idea of using AI on the mouth thinking it would just fill in the opening and just show lips. That's not what happened. Instead it filled the area with some pretty heavy duty front teeth. 😂😂🤣
So I went back online and caught a break by finally finding someone who was selling the same exact model I had before. The photo in this post is of her. She arrives today. So I'll be redoing all of the photos of the earrings tomorrow and will be adding them to the shop this upcoming week instead. 🎉👏
