Hello awesome humans of Tumblr! I am helping my friend raise money to go to Nepal next year to do a nursing placement. Below is what she has written. Hopefully you can see how much it means to her. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

I am carrying out this placement with work the world. Work the world craft healthcare electives around the world tailored to health care students individual interests. They have a decade of experience sending thousands of students abroad. I am so lucky to be one of those students getting to spend four weeks in Nepal.

In Nepal 37.5% of the population are known to have a mental health problem and mental health services are the least prioritised for development. This is why it is important that students get to support in these services.

I would like to raise money for my placement as well as money for equipment that I can give to my placement hospital as a way of supporting this need. I would really appreciate anything that you can spare to support me with this amazing opportunity.
