Hi!! I'm a bit anxious about commenting and interacting on ao3 but I really loved the world border au when you were posting it.. (even talked about it to some of my friends...) is the fic definitely abandoned? it's been a while
Oh, not at all! I have like five different stories for it that are ✨ almost ✨ finished and I just haven’t gotten around to them yet, and then i got into a big funk because college planning makes me want to never do anything, but it is not abandoned! Honestly, I kind of quieted down about it because I felt like nobody cared, but this has seriously made me feel better. Thank you so much!
I'm gonna read through the blog when I don't need to study anymore, but! have a question for you:
what was the favorite type of magic to come up with? is it one you've shared in the story so far or something that has not been introduced so far?
Oooo yes! So I never got to explain what exactly Joel was despite putting a bunch of research into it:
he's this thing (eastern emerald elysia). It's a type of sea slug that photosynthesizes (hence the green). Joel's magic (as well as that of other photosynthesizing animals) comes straight from the sun. He has the weird frilly fan things around his ears, neck, torso, and legs (I'll draw a picture later) that he collects energy with, and these as well as his eyes turn purple when he casts spells.
