Deca-Dence Spoilers below if you somehow haven’t watched it yet.
No idea if anyone else has posted about this but I think I figured out what kinda jobs the cyborgs do besides maintaining Deca-Dence.

I think the answer to what the kinds of lies in the jail. Like how Jill laid it out.
Oxyone, their whole society depends on it. They’re circulating oxyone.
Like the remark that Natsume makes at the end of episode 7 “I don’t think that you can even call it living if you don’t have any fun in your life. I mean you’d be just circulating air.”
They maintain the system, devices, societal rules & structures, factories, buildings.
They create oxyone and distribute depending on work ethic.
And they come up with more, better ways to make oxyone.
They created and recycle cyborgs and materials (I think it might be one and the same in the eyes of the system honestly) and up hold “order”.
Probably maintain “entertainment” too but that’s probably mostly if not entirely Deca-Dence.
The entire planet is basically just one big company town feeding into itself.
