Open Appeal: World Ventures, DreamTrips International, and Principals Wayne Nugent & Mike Williams, Honor Your Debts and Commitments
Public Disclosure Regarding DreamTrips International's (DTI) Failure to Pay Lawful Commissions and Serious Breach of Trust
This letter serves to publicly disclose the wrongful actions of DreamTrips International ("DTI"), an affiliate of World Ventures, and its ultimate principals, for repeatedly reneging on and defaulting on payments under a mutually confirmed commission compensation agreement.
The specific sequence of events is as follows:
Our representative, as an independent business representative of WorldVentures Marketing, LLC or its affiliates, filed a claim with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in July 2021 and successfully obtained proof of claim in November 2021.
In November 2021, we entered into a new commission compensation agreement with the new debtor entity, DTI. DTI made payments normally in January and February 2022.
However, in March 2022, DTI unilaterally and without reason suspended payments for the first time, requesting us to verify our account information. Only after we verified our identity through senior leadership and reported to the company, did DTI resume payments in April 2022.
On September 15, 2022, we formally submitted an account change request to DTI, successfully changing the payment account from an individual name to our company account – The Source of Landscape Limited, Hong Kong. This change was acknowledged and accepted by DTI.
During the period from April 2022 through July 2023, DTI consistently made the compensation payments as required.
It is utterly unacceptable that, starting in August 2023, DTI has once again unilaterally ceased payments. Company customer service and the Asia Regional representative, Sam Lau, notified us that DTI required yet another "verification" of our account identity.
To resolve the matter, a Zoom video conference was held on September 14, 2023, involving DTI's US legal representative, DTI's Hong Kong representative Sam Lau, our legal advisor, and corporate representatives. During this meeting, the DTI representatives once again confirmed the compliance of our identity and company documents and explicitly acknowledged that we fully met the payment conditions.
Despite this written agreement and multiple formal verifications, DTI has, to date, continued to refuse fulfilling its payment obligations since the meeting, without providing any reasonable explanation. All attempts to communicate with DTI and its principals, Mr. Wayne Nugent and Mr. Mike Williams, have been met with complete silence.
We believe that the actions of DTI and its parent company, World Ventures, do not constitute a simple contract dispute but rather a deliberate and malicious strategy of delay and non-payment. As the ultimate principals of the company, Mr. Wayne Nugent and Mr. Mike Williams bear undeniable responsibility for ensuring their company upholds basic business integrity.
We have now decided to make this matter public. Our aim is to utilize public pressure to urge DTI, World Ventures, and its principals Wayne Nugent and Mike Williams to: Immediately pay all outstanding debts and honor the commitments you put in writing.
We reserve all rights to take any and all further legal actions to protect our legitimate rights and interests.
