The books are growing heavy on my tired arms, if only my teacher would hurry up. He was supposed to be here 10 minutes ago. I can already imagine him saying that he needs to make up for his delay and making me stay longer. I should try remembering his teachings while I’m waiting. In the beginning there were… how many were there? I think it was 3 deities, Jielith the dragon, made the fire and destruction in the world…. Wait, there were 4 deities yeah, I always forget Volodar, God of games and hunting. After that there was Boldir, creator of life and death. And the last one is the missing link, there are artifacts that point to his existence but nothing was ever found that could show us his name or function. Ok then, calm down and focus now. So Volodar was useless until Jielith and Boldir shaped the first human being, a living being with the power to destroy the world if he so desired. From that Volodar created the Flow Games, a competition that was meant to show who the most powerful creature alive was. Every year a human would be victorious until the missing link intervened. The only piece of information we have about this God is that he created the Horstorns, creatures as black as night, powerful enough to crush a boulder with the palm of their hand, as fast as a lightning spell and smarter than any human living at the time. These creatures started competing and they crushed the humans every year from that moment forward. In order to stop such a destructive force, Jielith gave power to the humans, a power that could be unlocked by any human, power enough to fight off the threat of the Horstorns. Most humans never found their powers, but those that did embued weapons with it to give humanity a fighting chance in the war that was coming. We eventually won and no one ever heard of the Horstorns ever again… I forgot so many things, teacher will be so mad.
