The biggest problem I'M having with the IDW Monster High comic is, what the fuck do you mean there's a secret cabal to control monsters' minds to make an arm to fights human and Moanica D'Kay is just one of their victims and not the one LEADING it?!

And it's fucking LOTHAR & MANNY TAUR THAT'S ACTUALLY LEADING IT ALL?!?!

THIS is why I'm annoyed by all the G2 hate cause I feel like they didn't go all in with Moanica here because she's from G2 and "G2=Bad" and they don't want to do anything by pay lip service to it!

Like apparently the next arch is gonna be Spelldon and Valentine going through the multiverse and I'm afraid they'll just skip over G2 entirely! Or if they do mention it'll be in a, "Haha, look how stupid THAT was" kind of way that I HATE!

Course they couldn't reference either G2 or G3 at all but I feel that's damn waste if they're going through the multiverse with a multi-generation franchise!

I guess we'll just have to wait and see but I'm still mad about this Moanica thing!

Sometimes I remember that the main mh comic illustrator said that when she looks up references for my favorite character half the results she ends up seeing are just my art. What even is my life /positive

The comics that I ordered all the way back in September finally got here!!!

These are Issues #2-5 of House Haunters (I found Issue #1 separately) and #1-4 of World's Scare (waiting for my shipment of Issue #5). House Haunters was very cute, simple fun, and I think World's Scare is generally improving on the base created by New Scaremester. I might look into getting the Valentine+Spelldon comics, too. They also seem quite cute.
