stubborn  defiance  manifests  in  a  boot  stomped  against  the  floor ,  a huff of flared nostrils & a face twisting into a snarl .    “    ━━nine minutes & forty seconds now ,  actually .    ”    such a petty retort brought out of her lady almost feels self-infantilized ,  a girl out on the playground as opposed to a woman caught for prying eyes .  an unintentional crime standing in the shade ,  a stone’s throw away ,  opposite someone towering two whole feet above her ,  smooth & coy & brimming with just the kind of confidence that grinds against lady’s gears .  someone that has every right to be so & is fully aware of it ,  dancing in arrogance .  the famed witch ,  bayonetta in all her splendour & lady feels a poisonous mixture of resent & adoration filter through her blood ,  making it boil .  she is worth her own assertion ,  no doubt in her own reputation as a slayer of demons & an infamous mercenary ,  but she is merely human & not beyond inadequacy ,  streaks of jealousy that darken her glare .
