Today on International Women's Day, we want to share the inspiring story of Qdai champion and an aircraft ✈ engineering student, Jerita. Jerita was born in Lusaka Zambia Makeni to a family of 10. Her dad passed away when she was still young, and her Mum sold vegetables, so all her children could finish their education. 👩🎓 After completing her schooling, she was working odd jobs, until she met John, the Chief Engineer of Bush Pilots 🛩 Association in Chisamba, Zambia. She had never thought of working in aviation before that fateful meeting. He could see she was bright and so he began to teach her more about aircraft 🔧 maintenance. Excited, she went to look for schools but had no idea how she would pay the fees. However, her determination and talent 👩🎓 impressed our founder, Malvina, who decided to sponsor part of her training. Jerita says "Since then I believe it’s never too late for you to achieve something in life, as long as God is by your side.
