Berlioz wasn't sure the last time he'd spoken to Alice. She was often on his mind even as weeks had turned into months and months into seasons. He understood though. He'd scared her off. He didn't blame her for not speaking to him. Why would she want to? Why would anyone want to? That didn't stop him from impulsively making the memorized trek to her apartment. He stood on the outside, staring at the door as every thought he planned on telling her dissipated into nothing. His courage was dying out but still he raised his hand to knock on the door, wanting to immediately bolt away before she answered. Before he had the chance to decide though the door swung open and he was face to face with Alice once again. His words got caught in his throat as his breath was taken away. He wasn't that high, he knew he needed something to keep his nerves at bay though. His mouth tried to form words until he finally blurted out, "I'm sorry. For everything I ever did. I-- I should have checked on you or something. I should have done a lot of things so you wouldn't have ended up hating me." Berli bites down on his lip for a moment, eyes growing sad. "I'm mostly sorry I didn't try at all." He looks away and scoffs, shaking his head. "Maybe coming here was a mistake. I shouldn't have bothered you, I'm sorry. I just bring burden to people and...I should respect that you want nothing to do with me." He rubs his eyes but doesn't look back to her when he opens them. "I'm sorry, Alice. For everything, I really am."
