4. What was your childhood like?

Vincent: “I had a very happy childhood, even though we moved a lot because of my mother’s occupation - she’s a famous violinist and wanted me to become a musician as well. We lived in France when I was a child, but I grew up in England and I stayed there, even after my parents moved to the US... My mother wasn’t very pleased when I decided to enrol for literary studies instead of music and we haven’t been in contact very often since then...”

Domenic: “I had a wonderful childhood until my little brother got sick... At first, I was jealous, because suddenly, he was the center of attention and no one really cared about me anymore, but once I grew older things changed a lot... Now I’m the person he trusts the most and it makes me incredibly proud.”

31. Do you think that you deserve to die?

Vincent: He looks at you, completely bewildered. “No, of course not! Why should I deserve to die? I’m not a violent criminal and even if I was, I wouldn’t deserve to die. It’s barbaric to think anyone would deserve that...”

Domenic: He shrugs. “Some people might think so... But I never really cared for other people’s opinions, so...”

44. What would you do if Whumpee died?

Vincent: "I would be... devastated. He's been the my whole world for such a long time now, I wouldn’t know what to do without him... If he died... I’d miss him so much, I don’t think I could ever stop grieving him... And now leave me alone, this is not going to happen, he’ll be alive and happy by my side!”

Domenic: "Well, I'd miss the fun I had with him, but I'm sure I'll be able to find another person to spend my time with," he winks.

just read your latest piece. i remember lurking on your blog (not even logged into tumblr) and reading your story first unfold when you didn't even have a name for the whumpee (you joked about calling him Tol). Seeing how much your writing has grown and how much more confident you've gotten in it, it coming full circle to see so many details fleshed out from those first pieces... idk it made me emotional and i felt the need to tell you. You do a great job.
