Kopi Luwak, also known as civet coffee, is one of the world's most expensive coffees. It is made from coffee beans that have been eaten and excreted by civet cats, which is said to enhance the coffee's flavor due to fermentation in the cat's digestive system.
Ingredients: 1 cup of Kopi Luwak coffee beans. 2 cups of filtered water.
Instructions: Grind the Kopi Luwak coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency. Boil the filtered water and let it cool slightly around 200F or 93C. Place the ground coffee in a French press. Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds, ensuring all the grounds are saturated. Stir gently and put the lid on the French press. Let the coffee steep for 4 minutes. Press down the plunger slowly. Pour the brewed Kopi Luwak coffee into a cup and enjoy.
