There may come a time in your life when the universe will ask you to do something fantastically foolish for the person you love. I pray that you rise to this challenge with daring and grace. I discovered @beautaplin and his beautiful words a while ago when I found Worlds of You. It is a really beautiful collection about taking a moment to remind yourself how wonderful life is. Bloom is a very different collection, focusing on life lessons, grief, mistakes, love and loves lost; it is a collection of growth and renewal. I’m slowly learning that good poetry will encourage you to question life and make you look at things differently. Although I don’t think Bloom is quite as strong as Worlds of You but I marked plenty of poems to return to and ponder later! Bloom encourages readers to be the best version of themselves and I especially like the poem featured above because this is my life right now! I took a giant leap for love and even though it changed the course of my life, I would do it over and over again for lifetimes to come (heart) .
