Soul Surfer! AU || Percy & Jordan
Percy was enjoying his time in Hawaii. The people were nice, the food was great, it was inexpensive to be staying with his family and the weather for surfer was always top notch. Today was one of those days where Percy's girlfriend would not approve of him going surfing. It wasn't cold, well not too cold anyway. But the waves were rougher than usual and the coast where he was known to be one infested with dangerous sea animals like stingrays, jelly fish and great white sharks. He was determined to go surfing though. So he woke at 9 am.. ate breakfast with his family and girlfriend and headed down to the beach. Of course he caught a few waves before his friends showed up, playing around in the sand and shallow water. Two of his friends joined him in the ocean, Leo and Reyna. He sat up on his board, stretching a hand up to wave at the shore. He then turned to paddle back out into the deeper water where the waves would be nice. He rested on his stomach waiting for a wave. Everything after that hit him in a flash. A searing pain on his shoulder and then he was screaming in pain, and he could hear his friends freaking out and then he blacked out.
