This cannot be a mistake. The latest they encountered in the line of Mewtwos had described Nova as a “Necrozma.” This was someone who carried a human appearance. (Not that they are certain what a Necrozma is, just that it sounds non-human.)

Gosh, this was a little guy, wasn’t he? Well, at this point, whether he was gonna say it or not -- Ronno was getting kind of desperate for some kind of friendship. Every time he tried approaching someone, he just got blown off! So... even if it meant making friends with something so small, at least he’d have someone backing him up for once, right?
And he’d never seen this animal in the forest before! As he hadn’t even been told about weird yellow things with puffy red cheeks, it had to be some kind of new thing.
And making friends with a new animal was even cooler! Even better for his reputation.

She peered into the crack she saw the Flabébé fly through. She had tried to catch it for herself, but it was a bit too fast for her to chase down.
