gonna take this to a separate post in the interest of not spamming the dash w/ that long-ass post--the travelers are also on the train and they do fucking suck ♥ found family (bad). the issue w/ the travelers is that their narrative is compelling primarily because they’re Literally Fated to have a bad time, eurydice and orpheus style--it’s not as interesting if they’re not straight up tragically cursed to cause problems.

solution: the train, despite really never randomly glitching out, randomly glitched out while picking up the travelers. only krouse is supposed to be there, the rest have bugged numbers, and he’s spinning 50 plates at once trying to get them home. not sure if they ever cross paths with the undersiders, but rest assured they’re out there somewhere having a right miserable time. certainly all pulling a tulip & wearing gloves to avoid having to watch their numbers bug or go up, lmao.
