finished this beast of a shawl earlier this year and i am so proud of how it turned out holy shit

i had so much fun working on it! there are i think around 2800 beads and over 85000 stitches in this bad boy

just pulled this shawl off the blocking mat!

super in love with it, the only thing i would change is that it’s a little smaller than i hoped. i think i should have used one needle size larger. for some reason i have trouble trusting that looser gauges will look right even though i love them when blocked and finished lmao

also this thing had like. a billion ends to weave in because each of those little points created 2 ends so it was a bit of a slog however i think the end result is worth it!

to anyone trying to learn how to knit. if someone tries to teach you something called the backwards loop or thumb cast-on that is the devil talking. do not listen you will have a bad time

finished this radialactive shawl a few weeks ago and i’m absolutely in love with it!! was such a fun knit, although if i ever make another one (which i might) i think i’ll try to sub out the w&ts for something else bc my tension on them was always funny. ended up having to modify the last wedge bc i was running out of yarn but im not that upset about it, it still looks quite good imo!! second picture is more true to the actual colour

this thing is awesome it’s almost like a cape when i wear it. i’m in love
