So our last show at The Blvd was pretty great.  Everyone loved when we played "Bills", the energy for "Low and Easy" was spot on and "Worried Man"came out sounding superb as well.

After the show my cousin Fred aka WyteShdw told me something that made me feel good inside. He simply pointed out that he liked being able to hear everything clearly, the singing, guitars and drums. What he was referring to was our Ep that was recently released a few months back.

Fred had a new found appreciation for our music because he listened to the tracks from our Worried Man Ep. Which I found to be really inspiring because it made me feel like we're on the right track. We put a lot of effort in to recording that Ep and its helped educate us as a band on what to do for the Lp. We're going to try and self produce it which will be interesting and a whole lot of fun.

We also sell CDs and shirts at our shows so if you want to bring home a piece of Great Okra history come out November 16 to celebrate me and Aaron's birthday. We'll be playing The Go Lounge in La Mesa along with a few other bands.

We're continuing to contribute to the San Diego music scene so come out and buy me and Aaron a beer!

We'll be releasing a full length Lp as well so keep checking back.
