Staged Appearances [Kise]
Kajika sat enthralled in her plush red seat in one of the VIP boxes at the Deziro National Theatre, her silver eyes glued to the figures on stage. There was nothing like a good old theatre production to get ones heart pounding, especially when the scene involved plenty of breath-taking action. Currently the villain was kidnapping the fair maiden while the lead man was hot in pursuit, the suspense of the moment causing Kajika to sit right on the edge of the seat.
Admittedly it was often hard to know where to direct her eyes as the entire play thus far had been done to perfection. The backdrop, the props and even the costumes were absolutely spectacular not to mention the actors portraying the villagers who acted out their own unique roles throughout. The young heiress knew that not everyone enjoyed the background characters moving around, as it often drew attention away from the leads and the primary plotline, but she personally preferred it to them just standing idly by doing nothing. To her it made the scene seem more lifelike, more genuine, as if the audience was privy to out of body experience watching the events in the real world unfold. No collective group of individuals would constantly just stand by and watch things unfold for specific people without living out their own lives after all.
The scriptwriter was definitely a genius to plan it all out like that!
Thunderous applause echoed round the room as the curtain closed for intermission, the scene having ending with the villain ducking off the stage and leaving the poor hero in the lurch. It certainly build up a lot of anticipation for the scene to follow and the break only served to heighten it.
Kajika stood from her seat and wandered out the side door to stretch her legs for a bit. The masses just outside the doors were overwhelming and the snack bar was just as overcrowded, which wasn't too unexpected considering the protocol of no eating or drinking while in the theatre itself. Deciding to head to a less densely populated area, the russet haired maiden headed down a nearby flight of stairs which lead to the first floor. There were much less people on the lower level but one person in particular caught Kajika's eye.
The man in question had short dark hair and a pair of wide set brown orbs that were currently staring at a huge stack of papers which were clutched tightly in his hands. What really had Kajika's attention however, was the unmistakable worried gleam in those large eyes and she could not help but feel compelled to do something to get rid of it. No further hesitation was present on her part as she trotted over to the troubled soul and tapped him lightly on the shoulder, her own silver orbs shining with curiosity and concern as she gazed into his brown ones.
"Something the matter?"
