#Repost @justinbalog ・・・ We need you! Be part of Colorado cycling history? In @philgaimon 's quest to claim KOM’s around the country, this Friday he’s trying his legs at Lookout Mtn. A storied climb on the outskirts of Golden Colorado. His attempt will be the backdrop for the first ever ‘Fan-Sourced’ episode of the ‘The Worst Retirement Ever’. If you’d like to be involved, and be part of this groundbreaking project, all you’ll need is an iPhone. We’ll provide the cookies. The plan is to line the course with cycling fans. You will serve both as cinematographers, as well as, motivational speakers for Phil’s attempt to best the current record of 16:55 set by Howard Grotts. Here’s how it will work. 1) DM me expressing your interest in being part of this legendary project. 2) I will confirm with you the time for Friday. 3) I will assign you a location on the mountain where you will cheer/film from. 4) As Phil passes, you will shout encouraging words. 5) Also as Phil passes, you will film a short video clip using your iPhone. 6) After Phil has summited Lookout, we will gather in the parking lot at the summit of Lookout where you will share your video with me. 7) I will then assemble all the videos into a cinematic masterpiece documenting his mythical climb. 8) Together we will celebrate, drink coffee and eat cookies.
