that moment when you're genuinely scared of your muse. because they're usually so far away from this monster, but this ONE THING tipped them so over the edge, all you can do it hold on and right it out.

having spent the majority of the morning and much of the afternoon upstairs, sirius had managed to avoid what exactly had caused molly's daily flurry this time. that, of course, didn't mean he'd avoid the extent of it.
buckbeak, much like the man himself, was evidently more than frustrate d by the confinements of grimmauld place. even worse, stuck within a single bedroom. of course, sirius empathised with the creature, which made it all the more tempting to sneak back out whenever the many residents of the house weren't looking.
and here tonks was, A S L E E P ?
' O I !!! ' -- personally, he felt that would do the trick.
( nymphadora tonks )
Andromeda had been an oddity amongst them. Of course, Regulus knew his brother to be an oddity, as well; he wasn't as shocked when her name ( or his brother's, for that matter ) arose in conversation. Still, he was curious when he found himself looking upon Andromeda's pink-haired daughter. Of course, she had no idea who he was; for that, Regulus was grateful. He hadn't been known in England for years. It was only for want of certain supplies that Regulus was in Diagon Alley even now. Still, he was curious; there was something intriguing in investigating the taboos of the family. Especially when that family had since c r u m b l e d. ❝ 'Xcuse me, Miss -- I thought I heard your companion there address you as "Tonks?" Are you related to an Andromeda? ❞
okay, but, you're lily is wonderful. i just love her so so so much. i love how you've brought her to life in a way that, to me, seems very very viable and wonderfully crafted and just, ugh. it's always so encouraging to me when i find people who've put an incredibly amount of time and effort analyzing their character and delving into their characters thoughts and actions and just get to KNOW who they're writing. which you definitely have. and i love it so so so much. xoxo.
I could say the same to you, my dear. Actually, I can, I have, and I shall CONTINUE to do so. So I am sure you understand how sincere I am when I say hearing people say that means a lot to me. And it means even more coming from people who I know put just as much effort into their own muses.

Being dead was not something new for Lily, even if there was the tiny sensation of ot fitting perfectly right after being half pulled back by the stone. But now it was all over and it was time to settle into her own death again, and greet refound friends who'd sadly crossed over in the last battle. There had been hugs and kisses and a good firm kick to the shin for Remus that she would have to explain later, but at the moment she wasn't going to dampen his reunion with his brothers who dragged him off as if they were all teenagers again. That left her with his wife ( was it wife? vows lasted until death did them part and they were certainly still dead, and she was never sure if her staying with James was the norm or not ), who she really only had a glowering stare for.
“ Nymphadora Lupin, right? Or do you you still use Tonks?” It was a cool greeting, not at all the proper counterpoint to the enthusiastic one Remus had gotten.
’ can't say i see witches all that often anymore.‘

he'll look over the cupboards, fingertips grazing over dusty bottles, a slow scowl taking over his expression. each and every one was half empty, a testimony to the fact that his father had been just as picky and just as changeable as he was.
he tried to dispel that thought as quickly as it came, but it was a little late now. a little late for that, and a little too early for scotch.
' molly, if you think i'm spending any more time cleaning this bloody house---- '
