Walk on the Wild Side || Margaret & Adam.
One thing Adam couldn't get used to was the exaggeratedly hot weather. It was as if the sun never went down, as if it were there twenty-four hours a day. At first it was nice, to feel the sun on his pale skin... But eventually, he ended up missing Canada's cold weather. But he always tried to look at the bright side of situations, and he actually found it: the hot weather could allow him to go out in his skateboard, for at least two hours. It was sunday after all... Not that he had that much to do the rest of the week anyway, yet, today being sunday was his perfect excuse to leave the big palace building where he was living. Sporting a plain white T-shirt, khaki shorts, a pair on black converse, and sunglasses; but not without having applied sunscreen -leaving his face a bit whiter than usual-, he went outside with his skateboard under his arm. He walked for a few meters until he found himself before a flat piece of concrete floor, which he guessed was meant for royals to walk on, he placed his skateboard on the floor and placed one foot on it, before looking around to see if someone was there. Just for precaution, though, he didn't want to hit anybody or anything.
He rode on his skateboard, only shielded from the blazing sun by his sunglasses, and after a few minutes of riding on his own, he wondered where the rest of the royals were. What were they supposed to do on weekends? He had heard something about a feast for them, and he wondered if the thing was meant to be that day, because he couldn't spot a single person around the entire place. Fifteen minutes after leaving the building and following the concrete path that led him somewhere he didn't know, he actually considered turning back and look for the rest of the royals. He wondered if they were waiting for him or anything. He was about to turn around when he spotted a small feminine figure. He knew it was a girl because she had the curves. But the hair... The hair gave away who the not-so-strange girl was. It was Margaret, and she was a friend... Or at least he thought she was, since they had spoken a lot before. To him, if somebody spoke to him more than twice, they were automatically friends. Which could be a big mistake, but he didn't care that much. Still on his skateboard, he rode towards her, stopping right in front of her. He had no idea what her plans where, and he hoped he was not interrupting anything. But at the same time, he wished he was. "Hello, Moody," he greeted, a big, teeth-showing smile appeared on his face just after he spoke. "What are you doing around here, on this sunny sunday?"
