Friday humour.. Gas valve + Ring lock system... = which human body part do you think of. Back to the more technical facts. The rolex deep sea dweller. Must be the ultimate tool watch. And even if the inside is the "same" as other rolex watches, the case design and functionality is the real feature of this watch. Funny thing is that I dont see ANY use for the technical specs.. 4000 meters down.. the old 1200 meters dweller was more than enough to meet any needs out there. Will the deep sea survive in the rolex lineup? But that don't mean I dont like it. Will we see crown guards on the milgauss in the future? With criwnguards on the air king. No idea the reason for this. Crown guards was "from my understading" developed for dive watches. To protect the one place where water could enter if unlucky. Crown guards was used to protect the winding crown from bangs and hits, to ensure water would not enter and "kill" the watch. Not so much used for a air-king or a milgauss (or explorer 1). They where made for use above the water. Well let's see what will happen next. My non bitcoin watch... Crazy as the prices on watches have gone up and up. I don't really know how to explain. Other that the hype is like using watches as "bitcoins". Let's get back to the passion. Also the major brands are on the boat. Making a very high number of new models in sticking colours to make them stand out. Explorer 2 Rolex 216570 black dial. First version of the 42mm explorer 2. Tool watch that you don't see that often in the wild. The standout orange hand is a nice feature, and give you a gmt watch and 24 hour function. The gmt gives the same with the added feature of a 3 timezone and timing function with the rotating bezel. The fixed bezel of the explorer 2 is another special deal with the explorer 2.
