Gillen did better than I thought he would, but he does have stilted writing, you're right. But he's not chicken (Billy and Teds didn't get a kiss in CC, they almost, but got interrupted) McKlevie was the real superstar of that series though, do you agree?

mckelvie does really good art but i sometimes wish he'd let go of his pop art sensibilities and give into letting out the kinetic, frenetic movement, letting things have more momentum/impact, because a lot of his stuff often looks like really pretty action figures standing around, stiff like. i know he does this on purpose, but!

basically, gillen could stand to watch Crank 2, and mckelvie could stand to read a lot of One Piece
