Love the idea of using drugs to slow down or prevent labor. Keep you pregnant for as long as possible, watch you swell immeasurably to the point where you’re utterly dependent on me. Alternatively just keep you in labor for days, because would it be a waste to have such a lovely occasion end so early? And yes, we do still need to get groceries and go to that party even if you’ve been in labor for 36 hours. I’ll just have to keep things going a little bit longer.
