What infuriates me the most about the Booker stan is that in canon he accepts the punishment and he thinks it's fair! He's okay with the consequences, knew they would be coming and doesn't bargain or accuses them or whatever. How many time in canon the shitty character does that? And the fandom twist it to make him a man baby that needs coddling ffs

I mean I have nothing to add to this, it’s just 109% true.

All the characters, including Booker himself, understand that Booker did a truly awful and fucked up thing and that a) a price needs to be paid, and b) the team deserves to have time away from Booker to heal and hopefully find a way to trust him.

It’s fandom that’s crying in their tea about how unfair it all is. And I’m over white straight dudes being woobyfied. I had a small hope for this particular movie and fandom, but I’m also not surprised.
