The Ship Of Dreams || {closed}
Clara Oswin Oswald had always been a strong believer in her dreams coming true. It was really a belief that she'd held close to her heart. She'd believed that she could run far to the high heavens and dance among stars and live in moonlight that could only exist on other worlds. Every night she'd prayed for adventure--

But she'd quickly learnt that none of that was going to come to her in Southhampton. If she'd stayed in that small town by the bay then she would've ended up falling into a routine that she'd dreaded. Going to the same bloody job, seeing the same people, eating the same food and seeing the same sights.
It may have been her home and where she'd had a family, but Clara'd so desperately dreamed of traveling the world. Of being someone other than just a perfectly ordinary girl.
She'd found her dream in one particular ship.
The ship of d r e a m s they'd called it.
Of course she'd nary a quid to be able to even pretend to wish she could be a passenger. But she could handle the snooty blokes and the noses that had been upturned at her as she walked from table to table, cleaning away the mess they'd left so ungraciously. She would roll her eyes at the drunken blokes on lower class and do a sub-par job on the beds of people who hadn't even bothered to say thank you for everything she'd done.
It wasn't ideal, but what else was she left with?
She was passing through hallways again, her work for the evening thankfully over soon. She reveled in the promise of being able to walk out along the deck while the others had retreated back out of the cool midnight air.
With a quiet breath she raised her hand to rap her knuckles on a nearby door.
"Turn your bed down for you, love?"
