Uuuugh I hate being ill?!?! Obviously part of that is the symptoms themselves but mostly it just gives me fuckin anxiety out the wazoo if it's a work day. Like? If I don't call in sick, I worry that I'll not be up to it and I'll make mistakes at work, or I'll overexert myself or something, but if I DO call in sick, I worry all day about whether I'm REALLY sick enough to warrant that or if I would've been fine if I'd gone in and I'm just being overly paranoid and causing other people trouble by making them reorganise. Y A Y

i’m honestly not quite sure about this, i don’t think it would take amalie too long to say it for the first time. by now she has become a lot less shy, & a lot more mature, so she wouldn’t feel too nervous being the first to say it anymore. it has been a different story a few years ago, even if she knew another person felt the same, she would’ve never said those words. of course, she wouldn’t randomly blurt it out at someone who isn’t even aware she feels romantically attracted to them today, either ; for her to feel confident enough to do so they’d have to be dating, if they are it may only be a matter of a week or two, at most two months. that mindset stems from the fact that she believes it should be pretty obvious she does – & the other does too, considering they are dating.

yes & no. she doesn’t believe you can be IN LOVE at first sight, but she does believe you can crush on someone. since crushes often happen simply due to the looks of a person, to be in love you’d have to know them, their personality, their quirks & weird habits – & since that’s impossible if you’ve only seen a person once, amalie doesn’t think it exists. as crushes are definitely different than being in love, a crush to her is a quick obsession, that may either turn into love over time, or fades into the distance at some point or another. so no, love at first sight isn’t something she believes in, & yes feeling attracted / crushing on someone at first sight does exist. 

soulmates are a concept amalie isn’t sure how to feel about, while the thought that everyone has their soulmate somewhere in the world does seem quite endearing at first, the fact that your soulmate could live literally across the world & the chances of you two meeting getting less & less the further away you truly do live, it doesn’t seem like a realistic thing to her. take aside that the concept of constantly being on the search for a soulmate, or possible dying without ever having met yours is much too depressing, she likes to keep it at love, rather than soulmates.  

she does believe in fate, more or less. while she doesn’t think that everything that happens in your life is fate, she does think that sometimes you meet people for a good reason. a lot of people in the past have hurt her, & yet they have helped her grow tremendously, if it weren’t for them she may still be the same as she was five years ago. so clearly meeting them must have had a reason, if it was fate & all planned out before it happened is debatable, but amalie likes to believe that’s the case.
