Day 22 (Balance)

This kind of thinking is also the exact reason why I was the only one left doing our final requirement last semester on the same fucking day of the deadline in a fucking computer shop.
May I mention that while they were all at home, asleep, watching their favorite series, and cuddling with their loved ones, I was stressing myself while laying out our community newspaper at 6 am in the morning in Espana, which was barely 2% done when it got to me.

I was willing to reconnect with all of you this semester after ignoring you during the remainder of 2017 after our break started. I wanted to give you all back a chance that you didn’t ask for and a forgiveness that was not triggered by an apology.
Pero sa sinabi mong ‘yan, you just proved to me na yes, hindi ako dapat magtiwala ulit sa inyo because you’ll always leave at the first chance that you get, and that you won’t even care for the people that you’ll leave behind who will be scrambling at the mess that you left.
But you know what, I don’t give a damn anymore. Leave me again and I’m sure I can make it on my own without any of your help. I did it once, for all of you. And I sure can do it again, but this time for myself.
So, I will be sleeping with my one eye open from now on. To make sure that your sudden absence won’t be a surprise at all. In fact, I’ll also leave the door wide open to make sure that you’ll always have your chance to leave, and just so I can also finally have the chance to lock you out once you do.
