DRACO FORGETS HERMIONES BIRTHDAY SO SHES V UPSET AND HE DOES SOMETHING TO TRY N MAKE IT UP TO HER BUT HES AWKWARD AND CLUELESS

Makeup. That was the first thing Draco noticed when Hermione sat down opposite of him for breakfast.

Draco couldn’t recall the last time Hermione ever wore makeup. He always noted that she would fill in her eyebrows once in a while— maybe even put on some mascara. As far as he knew, Hermione was always just too busy to even put on a scrape of eyeshadow.

"Pretty," Draco pointed out, instantly blushing profusely. He was still working on complimenting people, much less having a girlfriend. "You look really nice today--er, well you kind of look the same everyday so I guess you look good all the time."

"Thanks," Hermione said, her voice somewhat mundane. He guessed that she didn't really take his compliment to heart--that, or he was much worse at dating than he thought. "Anyway," the witch began, attempting to change the subject, "anything new happen recently? Important events, anything of the like?"

Draco couldn't tell what Hermione's aim was. She hardly ever did small talk. "Nothing of the sort, why?" he answered, jabbing his fork into his Eggs Benedict and taking a gulp of his orange juice.

Hermione was silent for a second, staring down at her plate of breakfast. "You are so unbelievable."

"What?"

"Malfoy. Don't tell me you forgot--," at this point, Draco had to dodge the flying poached eggs Hermione had flung at him, "--my twentieth birthday."

"Twentieth?" Draco almost yelped, blocking himself from a muffin. "Hermione, please, let's be reasonable, I'm not exactly the best with dates anyway so--"

"YOU ALWAYS FORGET!" Hermione shrieked, interrupting Draco mid-sentence. Tears streaming down her face, Hermione furiously wiped her lipstick on the back of her hand, smudging the makeup she'd put on specifically for Draco. Hermione ran--okay, well maybe stomped--upstairs to their room, slamming the bedroom door behind her.

"You're such a fool," Draco muttered under his breath.

He wasn't talking about Hermione.

The very next two hours wasn't pleasant. While Draco lounged downstairs, pondering how to make things up with Hermione, his girlfriend was plotting his death. 

Obviously, Draco was never much of a sentimental person, even when it came to Hermione. He'd never possessed the characteristics of an ideal boyfriend, albeit his charismatic charm and above-average intelligence. In truth, while he was not cold to the people he loved, he was still somewhat aloof, reserved and awkward with his feelings, and shy. Most of all, he was rather upfront and disliked romanticizing things.

In the end, he didn't buy anything for Hermione. Rather, he went up to their room, and perhaps for the first time ever, he kissed her on the cheek, told her not to cry, and held her tightly. 

But not once had he said happy birthday, because in truth, she already knew by the immense amount of kisses he gave her.

Twenty, as a matter of fact.

just came back from the cinema after watching the third madoka magica movie

and I still can't believe I saw megukas on a huge ass screen with a buncha nerds from my city (including tumblr user Mocchizou who is the biggest nerd) Just whoah..... surreal...
