regina was a big fan of avoidance. if something was uncomfortable? see ya. if she didn’t want to address a certain feeling or a certain feeling? bye. so, when she rounded a corner on her way back her dorm and came face-to-face with her ex, all she really wanted to do was turn around and pretend she hadn’t seen her. but that seemed a little ridiculous now. so she stood up straight, making sure to showcase her full five feet and nine and a half inches- trying to seem unbothered and tough, apparently- and murmured, “jess, hello.” a pause, “i was going to say funny seeing you here,” she was going to say absolutely nothing, “but you obviously still go here. so that would be rather superfluous... the school year treating you well?”
