caught a bunny! (blu sniper/ red scout)
tw : stalking, violence
It never really wrapped around BLU Sniper’s head that, you know, it’s very, very frowned upon to stalk the person you happen to be in love with. Especially if it’s an unsuspecting Scout.
Our story starts when Scout woke up in the middle of the night, and noticed the BLU Sniper peering at him through his bedroom window, and for some reason he couldn’t define at the time, he peered back. Which, he later realized it was because he was absolutely petrified. And, Scout felt like he was locked to looking into the man’s aviators; and, to add insult to injury, the Sniper seemed to get closer to the window. Scout scattered, going to find Spy.
“Spy — Spy, you - you gotta help me! please!” The boy shouted, out of breath. “What is it, Scout? It is two in the morning.” Spy replied, complainingly. “That fucking.. that Sniper was at my window again. he’s freaking me out. i don’t know what to do.” Scout’s eyes were wide, and they kept darting around the room, to make sure he wasn’t going to find the Sniper hiding about.
He was allowed to stay with Spy that night, as long as he stayed on the couch. Scout didn’t sleep well; however, because he felt like he was constantly being watched. And to nobody’s surprise, he was. The cause of Scout’s paranoia was peering in from the window, yet again.
They had a battle two days after the fateful stalking event, and as much as Scout begged and pleaded to be excluded, just this once, he was forced to participate. Spy promised to stay near and protect him, so the Sniper wouldn’t get to him. Scout felt a little relieved, knowing he would have someone to protect him.
Scout didn’t notice he was so close to the opposing Sniper’s nest; but, it was only when his only source of protection, Spy, was sniped, did Scout realize. “Aw, shit.” He muttered to himself. He decided to go and try to kill the Sniper. it couldn’t hurt.
It did hurt, actually.
More than Scout would’ve liked.
Sniper’s plan had worked, like a charm. “Would’ja look at that, Spook. Looks like i’ve caught a bunny.” Scout freaked out, and tried to run, but he was in too deep. Sniper shot his rifle at Scout, getting him in the calf. Scout yelped in pain, trying to crawl away from Sniper. Sniper knew better. He grabbed Scout’s feet and dragged him closer to himself. “I’ll be keeping you, bunny. Think I’ve earned it, really. You’re hard to get.”
