something I just remembered that I haven’t seen ANYONE talk about…

Finney was so ready to die down in that basement. He’s already accepted that there’s no way out and that he’s going to be murdered and he’s okay with that because he’ll get to be with Robin again. He even tries to fight Robin when he tells him that he’s going to get out and that he’s not gonna go like that.

Sometimes Finn has flashbacks. Days where he has one foot in the basement, mixing up time-frames. He gets confused. Gwen brings Ernesto over during one of these episodes and Finn stares at him, hurt and bewildered that Robin would cut all his pretty hair off. He only realizes when he says this out loud and Ernesto's face crumples and he starts to cry. Robin never cried. And if he ever did, it wouldn't be so vulnerable.
